At least Dick Turpin wore a mask

Absolutely CRAP

Absolutely CRAP. Being charged for phone calls I did not make have been transferred 6 times so far and the last person played silent… bunch of jokers I’m absolutely FUMING..!!!

At least Dick Turpin wore a mask

As a household in Orkney that runs of “green energy”, so an all electric household the service and pricing from Shell is horrendous. Due to being a high usage household we are finding that despite submitting meter readings on time, we are not being billed at the end of the month. Apparently Shell blocks the account, so no bill is sent. Until the next month when Shell kindly bill you for 2 months worth of electricity. I only found this out about bill blocking by calling up speaking to a sarcastic little @@@@ employed by them. If Shell are going to not bill customers who have high usage, an email would probably help. Instead Shell left me with a 2 month bill for just over a £1000. Is it a coincidence that I also refuse to pay by direct debit? Is it coincidence that just after my call to Shell, I get an emailing about paying by direct debit? I only actually found out about the account blocking of high users by raising a complaint. Dreadful company, milking the working man dry. Scum of the earth.

Liars and Scammers

I signed up to Shell Broadband because it worked out the cheapest overall with the £100 gift card that you got to sign up as a new customer. Guess what? They refused to give me the £100 gift card. I proved I had an account and I sent them the screenshots of the email I had received confirming I’d receive the gift card. Their response? Blatant lies. They said their sales team had said I’m ineligible, but they didn’t explain why I’m ineligible nor try to do anything about it. They said I needed to provide more evidence but didn’t couldn’t say what evidence is. It’s obvious they couldn’t be bothered to do anything about it. Oh, and after only 4 months of service, they put the price up from £23 to £27 — an almost 20% increase. Don’t go near this company.

They are extortioners and thief

They are extortioners and thieves; via high tariffs. Joining shall energy is always a lifetime mistake. They created over four (4) account numbers for one customer within six (6) months.
Bad customer relations, nobody takes responsibility.
Their staff are well trained not to take responsibility. They will always transfer you to someone, and someone will keep moving you to another agent. If anybody wishes to be frustrated, then join Shall Energy.

I would not give them even 1 star

in would not give them even 1 star they cut me off when i asked them to repair external fault tried charge me £230 for repair and ignored me several times saying openreach had outage.  customer service is beyond a joke couldnt be bothered to help fobbed me off on excuse after excuse
had to go somewhere else and got fixed in less than a week. i have gone to ofcom and reported them

Another ebusiness that is flawed by …

Another ebusiness that is flawed by poor communication. This is another company that sends out emails you can not reply to and has an account site that is constantly unavailable “sorry we have technical problems at the moment” but is very capable of continuing to charge at increased rates for an account you are blind to. I have two account numbers showing? but unable to examine either account. I am held to ransom otherwise they will damage my credit file. They chase you to get your business but leave you hanging once obtained. Shameful.

Watch out for any fake reviews. Note the reoccurring themes in the negative reviews, including difficulty in communicating with the company. Shell Plc CEO Ben Van Beurden (now retired) openly admitted at the Shell AGM held in London on 23 May 2022 that all is not well at Shell Energy.
