Absolutely awful. Completely messed up our switchover to them, leaving us with no internet for several days now. Spent hours on the phone to their customer service with no resolution. Avoid.

Since I changed from bt I findes the broadband goes off and on. Difficult when my heating works from internet. When playing music one song then goes off nightmare

Appalling customer service , two months after moving suppier and sending our router back with a tracking label we recived a request to return router or incur a charge, having taken many phone calls to get a return label sent out to us we kept the receipt as proof of return and informed them as such.We now have to wait for the promised cheque for the £59 refund we are owed. Worst company we have ever had to deal with-Avoid!

Avoid like the plague, May father has just died and they have just charged my sis whos the executor £50 for a router (was a post office customer and i cant remember him ever getting a new router from shell)

Terrible customer service. Two serious complications in two months. Shell resolution team agreed to reimburse my losses due their negligence but then imposed the charges in following bill. I was told to buy and fit my own internet socket. They gave me 4 hours notice of the engineer apt and had charged my account for not being home to accept the engineer. But I was home!! Communications ombudsman for these lying, thieving b…..ds!!

Shell took over from Post office. I signed up for an 18 month contract at the price given. They have now said that there is a price increase for call charges. I was never notified or agreed to this as I had an 18 month contract at the agreed price. I was charged for a call out after openreach moved a telegraph pole, eventually not applied to bill. Charged for not returning router even though had receipt of posting. Internet speed was below what I was paying for and only recently after the road has been dug up and a fibre cable company have been has the speed reached what I was paying for. Opened another complaint and now told complaint is closed without any reason. Worst company I have ever dealt with. They are not part of the Ofcom compensation scheme and when asked for a ‘deadlock’ letter to proceed to Ofcom, this has been ignored.

not a very good supplier, slow to act on my complaint about my phone line being down 3 days}still not fixed}all you get when you ring their number is a computer activated voice but no back up from a real person.

Really awful broadband. Pay £28.99 for download speed of 6.8mps and upload 0.6mbs something there own in house systems acknowledge as true. Had more drop-outs than is ‘normal’ their customer care inform me. They have offered me free termination of contract which has months still to run. NO REFUND THOUGH. I have lost count of the hours spent on the phone awaiting response on the telephone. Good service… don’t bother.

I was a happy Post Office customer until Shell took over! They doubled my bills without warning, when I called to cancel they offered to credit my account and gave me a new deal, I only agreed if they stuck to what they promised, next thing i know, they cut me off and started chasing for the money they promised to credit! you can never get hold of them and when you do, they cut you off! I did manage to speak to someone once and she said i was lying! i reminded her the calls were recorded and to go and listen to them, i then got an email saying they have listened to them and i am lying! Now in contact with citezens advice! Avoid this company

I have been robbed of half a months state pension on phoning them because of broadband problems. Took £307.00 from my account without my6 consent and intend to take another £200.00 in October because of same issue. Thieves

Shell energy is the worst company I have ever dealt with! Have nothing to do with them… ever! I cannot even recount my horrendous experience with them. They were not my choice. I was transferred to them from Post office. Now with BT who are a breath of fresh air!
