How the hell can I be in £419.41 debit?IMPOSSIBLE – same usage like before with Octopus and at the and they paid me £170 for overcharging me, with Shell I owe almost £500 quid?

Feel cheated Fraudulent Beware!

Feel cheated. Fraudulent company. Beware! am a shell broadband customer. Please be aware of the fraud they carry out with new customers. They first offered a good initial monthly price. Then unilaterally increased and amended the contract sending an email at the end of December knowing most of them would be away to respond. They gave 30 days time from December including the Christmas shutdown. Leaving me no option but to stick to this fraudulent company otherwise having to pay 90 quid exit fee. Now they are again offering reduced price within couple of months of increasing the price for just joined customers. So new customers DO NOT JOIN. ITS A TRAP. they care less about the customers and not flexible for the problems they have caused. Customer service is really bad uncaring.. STAY AWAY WHILE YOU CAN. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LOW PRICE PROMO. it is to trap you and charge you more. And even if you want to exit charge you exit fee. Very unethical business. STAY away

Poor communication

Poor communication, increased my direct debit without communicating with me, saying they sent me an email but I haven’t receive any email of that sort. Refused to contact me about my Smart meter to ask me whether I have one as they can’t get my smart meter reading but I can see my smart meter working well.

Shell energy is the worst of the worst I’ve ever come across.. all of a sudden my tariff changed and was paying £170 a month .. and I owed £670 .. I advise anyone too stay well clear of these ..or you’ll end up with a massive made up bill ..

Awful customer service

Awful customer service, the shell energy app is absolutely useless not fit for purpose, we moved into our current property and she’ll were the energy provider so we signed up, it has been the most expensive mistake ever, our monthly payment is the highest I have ever paid, and you cannot make any contact with shell thro the joke of an app, take my advice give shell energy a very wide berth.

After joining Shell the first payment…

After joining Shell the first payment went out then another one less than a month later then I changed the date to suit ME the customer. Now I find it has not happened and I can’t change it again until after this months payment on the wrong date has gone out. This has really messed up my finances. I chose the date to suit ME, but Shell have ignored me. You have ignored your customer and now caused me problems with the money being taken from my account at the date I DID NOT CHOOSE so that will cause another due payment to be missed!!!!!!!! Thanks a lot. CHANGE MY PAYMENT DATE TO THE 26TH OF THE MONTH, NOW.
