They upped my 86 year old mother-in-law’s direct debit from £80 per month to £350 per month. She didn’t notice until bank account went into the red. This was all based on estimates which they insisted were accurate. I’ve now provided up to date meter readings confirming she has been overbilled by more than £1000 but they are refusing to refund her until the next billing cycle.

This is the poorest energy supplier I have ever been with, 9 weeks in and still not switched to them, asked for a resulution, nothing, asked for manager to call me, nothing, I’ve complained and nothing. But they still want toy charge me to leave them. Do not switch to these.

I have requested to change my name…

I have requested to change my name through deed poll. I have been chasing since one month to get it sorted. So for three adhoc bills have been generated but still my issue is not resolved yet. One of your agent Cheryl said to me yesterday that customer advisor will call me ASAP unfortunately no has called me so far.So far my experience shell energy has very bad customer services. For your reference this is my complaint number 8228139. Thanks for your service appreciated. Finally I think I made a big mistake joining shell energy.

Disappointing…

Moved to Shell from another provider in 2020.
I have been trying to get my smart meter updated & chased Shell regarding this. Their web-site says I would be contacted within 5 days, no contact as yet.
When calling, after a long wait, I am told that at sometime but no time frame.
Appreciate that we are in difficulties owing to the pandemic, if that is the case, the web-site needs to be updated to a better time frame.
Costs are better than with my previous provider.

You have increased my account by 5.04%… WHY?…

Your service has always been very very slow!

You cut me off many many times between 24h00 and 03h00…

On 2 April 2021 you cut me off again at about 24h00… So as usual I resigned myself to the fact that Shell Broadband is sooo useless and went to bed.

Now it is Saturday 3 April 2021 at 18h43 and I still have NO BROADBAND… WHY??

You get paid faithfully EVERY 8th of the month faithfully…

You harass me faithfully every month telling me I am a couple of days late… (I moved payment date from the 12th back to the 10th… didn’t stop you… then to the 8th…You still harass me every month)…

And your service has NEVER validated your 5.04% increase…

SO WHAT DO I DO NOW?

You are getting my money and I am not getting what I am paying for.

Please tell me what to do
