BE WARNED

I would strongly advise against using this shambles of a company, their customer service is non existent having me do the same test three times for no apparent gain, I shall be leaving this abhorrent company as soon as my contract enables me to do so, goodbye and good riddance.

Dishonest, confusing, over charge

I was told I was on a £70 a month contract. It’s gone up to 120 for the next charge. Not happy. Stay away. I wish I did. Better companies out there. No reason to use shell. You’re an idiot if you do

Dont join

Joined in september 2020. had email confirmation of my direct debit, amount, collection date etc. Was told by their support line that my smart meter would be read without issue. 5 months on, not a single payment has been taken. Not a single meter read has been taken and im now over £600 in debt which will double my monthly direct debit.
personally, i wouldnt recommend shell energy to anyone. Very disappointing considering the major brand name attached to the service

Since I moved to them in November 2020…

Since I moved to them in November 2020 I have problems. My meter is economy 7 so should be a night and day rate only but for some reason on my online account I have 3 options to read so I was ringing to them why is that and the lady on phone said the third one is a total of night and day rate so I start reading as she advised then what?! Receved bill for night day and peak time rate!!!3 months on phones, chats etc. nobody can resolve it. Very stressful! Also I signed 1 year fixed contract and receved bill for completely different tariff than I chosen which is more expensive and flexible…avoid
