The Broadband Service From Hell: Review of Shell Broadband posted within the last 24 hours on Trustpilot
I decided to switch to Shell broadband which turned out to be a service from hell. Just save yourself the headache and avoid.
I waited for over 3 weeks for the service to go ‘live’. This never happened. I tried to contact them and they were unable to help solve the matter. After days of going back and forth without internet (I work from home so I couldn’t function). I was told by one of the staff who wasn’t helpful at all, that I was sent a faulty router. He also maintained that this wasn’t their fault which left me confused and even more frustrated. He was probably trying to put the blame on a third party. At this point, I knew I was done with the appalling provider and service.
I found another provider who I am very happy with. However Shell still wants me to pay for a service I never receive to which I continue to refuse.
So learn from this. Not worth the headache. Take your business to another provider!!!
