CONTACTED THE OMBUDSMAN

WAITING TO HEAR FROM THE OMBUDSMAN ABOUT MY COMPLAINT THAT SHELL ENERGY IS CHASING UP A NON-EXISTENT DEBT OF £196.00 THAT GOES BACK TO JULY 2019. ALSO DRAWING UP A TIMELINE FOR MY LOCAL MP TO TRACE HOW THIS FRAUD AGAINST ME STARTED. AND WILL BE CONTACTING OFGEM TO TO LOG A CHARGE OF FRAUD AND BLATANT MIS-SELLING AGANST THIS COMPANY, NON-FIXED FIXED TARIFFS AND DIRECT DEBITS WHICH ARE DESIGNED TO PUT YOU IN DEBT VIA FALSIFIED PRICES. IT IS TIME BLOODSUCKERS LIKE SHELL ENERGY WERE OUTED AS FRAUDSTERS AND CROOKS. BACKING UP THESE PATHOLOGICAL LIARS ARE THE PITIFUL EXCUSE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATORS, IF YOU GET THROUGH IN LESS THAN 45 MINS OR END UP WITH A PROBLEM BEING SOLVED DO PHONE THE GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS. LOW LIFE TRASH SUCH AS XXX XXXXXXX (01 XXXXXXXXX ) CAN’T WAIT TO TALK TO YOU IN PURSUIT OF PAYMENT FOR FALSIFIED NON-EXISTENT DEBT. WITH THEIR CHIEF SLUG BEING XXXXX WHO DOES A CUTE LINE IN ACCOUNT DEFAULT NOTICES. MAY BE I SHOULD HIRE HIM TO CHASE UP SHELL ENERGY FOR MY £350.00. HOW ABOUT IT XXXXX? ARE YOU GAME FOR A CHALLENGE?

Impossible for my elderly mother to deal with

My mother, aged 91, used to get her energy through Shell. She received notification in June 2020 that they were putting up her monthly payment to £214. She couldn’t get through to them, so wrote and asked them to telephone. They sent her an e-mail to say they had tried phoning and couldn’t get through. It took my son and me over an hour to get through on the customer services line and it was difficult to sort out what had gone wrong. She has changed to a different supplier, pays a lower tariff and has experiened much better cusotmer service.

Been with Shell for over a year and…

Been with Shell for over a year and paid always on time through direct debit the amount requested. I uploaded meter readings, maybe not as frequently as monthly but still often. My direct debit amount went up a few months ago after I entered my meter readings. This week I went on my app to see I am -£770. I spoke to an online advisor on the chat who was helpful but I am still not clear why I owe so much money, to be told I actually owe £1060. I do not understand why I was not told prior to this amount escalating that I was getting in debt, I pay the direct debit every month at the price they set for me to pay presuming I am close to if not covering the amount of energy used. To find out I owe so much money was a shock and was also told I am on a higher rate than need to be but no support offered to help me change to a better tariff. I was told a payment plan could be arrange but would take 10days for them to contact me to set this up, I am also concerned that if my direct debits are not covering the amount I am using then surely this amount I owe will keep increasing and I was offered no support to deal with this.
