Terrible customer service stay away from this company

Currently been on hold for nearly an hour !!! Tied into a 5 yr contract with extortionate prices, they want £100 from me to leave !!! Worst company I have dealt with in a long time.

Absolute disgrace of a company

Absolute disgrace of a company, 42 minutes I’ve just been on hold to customer services, I gave up in the end, how am I supposed to sort my bill out if I cant talk to anyone !!!

Nightmare to switch from!

Switched to a new supplier in November but Shell still have not produced my final bill.

Impossible to contact and deal with Shell by phone so opened up a case via Resolver.

Shell contact me again saying they don’t have the info they need to close my account even though I have given it to them, was on a “smart” meter and told them the info is on the database, they just need to look at it.

So they send me a”final” bill which is “estimated!” up until 8th January!….I left in November!

I’m now being threatened with a debt collection agency for a wrongly estimated bill when they owe me money!

Waste of time trying to deal with these incompetent people, as many others have said, AVOID at all costs!

This is a rogue organisation

Dear Kyle, who just replied “I believe this will be an easy fix given what you’ve advised of here, but I would need an opportunity to look in to this directly. As we can’t use this forum as a way to confirm security and discuss account specifics, it would be great if you could get in touch with us using our contact details on our Trust Pilot page. I also thought this would be an easy fix. It seemed such an obvious case. However I won’t try to reach out to your organisation again, as, as explained, I have already reached out via several chats, several emails, and several complaints on your site: several hours wasted.
I now wait for you to bring this matter to court, where Shell Energy will look very, very bad.

This is a rogue organisation, acting like pirates, and wanting you to pay money after you closed your account and paid the full amount due.

I closed my account with Shell Energy when I vacated my house, took photos of the gas and electricity meters, submitted them, and paid the final invoice.
Guess what they did? They re-opened the account after my departure, and claimed money that was already paid, sending several threatening letters.

I thought customer support, reached both via chat, emails, and complaint form on their site, would be able to help. They are not, I have spent several hours with people who are both incompetent and cheat, and came to the conclusion that they are a rogue organisation.

My energy was with first utility than they have change to Shell energy . Since then my bills have increased every month, and I have asked why? I have used more energy than my estimate. Since last august they have overcharge me and my usage was always the please do not enjoy this company its mot honest and customer services horrible.
